I’m Laura Longmire.
Military spouse, boy mom, & personal wardrobe stylist.
As an Air Force spouse of over 20 years, I understand the unique demands of military life, as well as the opportunities it often presents. I also understand the language that can be confusing and often leaves you completely unsure of how you’re expected to present yourself.
As a hockey mom, I’ve had to dress and pack for as much as a 50-degree swing in temperatures in a matter of hours. I’ve also lived in 6 states and 3 time zones, & traveled extensively, including overseas, so I have personal experience dressing for every climate as well as a variety of cultures.
Despite enjoying clothes shopping & having a natural sense of style, I felt stuck and needed a fresh perspective to get out of my rut. The result was a wardrobe that was a carefully curated collection rather than a random assortment of clothes. This is what eventually inspired me to share what I know about style & the ins and outs of milspouse life with others.
